Welcome
I am a writer from New York City. My work is inspired by magical realism, psychological thrillers, film noir, and my extensive travel experiences. After living in or visiting many places across North America and Europe, my sense of identity as an artist is greatly informed by being a world citizen.
My creative work stands against loneliness, dedicated to finding the common in the unusual. My life has been very unusual since the beginning, so I’m always looking for new ways to present the knowledge I’ve gained from the darker intersections of self and experience.
The artists who are my biggest influences and inspirations include Anne Rice, James Baldwin, Richard Matheson, Ada Limon, Ocean Vuong and Sara Gran.
My projects have appeared at/in SXSW 2024, the New York City Poetry Festival, ESTIA Creative Home, Narratively, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the British Library, Waterstones London, Beacon Radiant anthology by great weather for MEDIA, Booth, No, Dear Magazine, O2 London Islington, Labyrinth Amsterdam, City Lights San Francisco, Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Puma Perl’s Pandemonium, Phoenix Poetry Series, and many more.
Alongside my artistic projects, I freelance as a voiceover for commercial, narration, and character work. Current and previous clients include PBS, Sound of Scripts, Æ VISION, Sony Music Entertainment, BBC, and Western Union.
